Important ANSI-5010 Information

More big changes are on their way. The Government has
mandated April 1, 2010 as the
implementation date of the new ANSI-5010 requirements
to accommodate the new ICD 10 format. This major change
updates diagnosis codes from 6 characters to up to 10
characters to allow for more specificity in diagnosing.
Because of this change, Interface EDI cannot guarantee that their older versions of the EDI software (those that are currently working with Medisoft version 8-14) will be compatible with the new format. it will be necessary to upgrade Interface EDI to its newest version 3.0. Medisoft V15 will be the first version to support this format.
But as always, with your subscription to Interface EDI, all EDI updates are FREE. This means that if you upgrade to Medisoft V15, you will be totally compliant for the change.
